Stressing the importance of participating officers at the Sanhurst Academy of Great Britain, known for military tradition and especially for the high level of military education, the prime minister praised the excellent and successful work of members of the KSF at the Royal Military Academy.

Even in the past our officers have shown exceptionally high results by bringing Prince Charles' sword to Kosovo and the Academy's highest medals and awards. This was by no means easy when we considered the competition and high level of British and international officers at that” academy, he said.

Kurti has stressed that during this period the government of Kosovo has had increased budgets for the military.

The decision to increase the budget for the Ministry of Defence is intended for our country to build defence capacities, in order that the KSF will be ready to protect our country's territory, maintain constitutional order, support civil authorities in case of crisis, and be ready for participation in international military operations“, he said.
