Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said the day when 180 new KSF recruits are sworn in is of great importance.
Dear recruits of the Republic of Kosovo, today for you, for your families, for KSF and our country is a special day. The Kosovo Army is adding 180 trained, prepared and willing soldiers to serve our country and protect our country's citizens and territory. During the nine weeks of training you have faced physical strain, mental burdens and academic duties, away from families under discipline and other difficulties you've faced before. All these challenges have had only one goal to prepare to be Kosovo Army soldiers to serve peace with high dedication and self-esteem”.
“Being part of the KSF, in addition to the privilege you will now serve the most reliable institution in the country, you have the honour of serving your country alongside allies, NATO soldiers in service of global peace and security”.
He told new KSF soldiers that today is the day to celebrate all their achievements, Klonkosova reports.tv.
“You now have to serve in force that is being modernised and developed for days and more, in the KSF which made our country for the first time hosting one of the largest exercises conducted by the US Army “Defender Europe 21” and for the first time caused our state flag to wave into the framework of a peace support operation in the Middle East and force that extended its hand to help NATO's mission in the military's handling of the Afghan city in good service and in the 13x>
Kurti has said the government he heads will take the KSF as one of the main priorities.
“Rating the budget for the Ministry of Defence and KSF points to our commitment to increasing security and protection of our sovereignty and territory. This also shows our commitment to preserving peace not only in the country but also in the region and the wider”.
In you we see the devotion of our country, the sense of duty service, honor of pride and unconditional love for the state and our people”.
The chief of the Kosovo government has also turned to family members of the new KSF soldiers, saying that “biys and your sons from today are more than themselves”.
These are your pride and each of us, because from today they wear the uniform of the soldier of our Republic who arrived on this day because of the labor, blood and sacrifice of many generations”, Kurt said until he even thanked KSF officers who trained recruits.
He even quoted American General Douglas MacArthur as congratulating recruits for their graduation.
American General Douglas MacArthur, who commanded the Southwest Peace Commander in World War II, has said that the soldier more than anything else prays for peace. Our army must be strengthened and developed to ensure and preserve peace, democracy and progress”.
I wish you your graduation and the beginning of the KSF service fully convinced that you would serve the country with honor and pride and give everything of your own to ensure a more just, equal and secure Kosovo for all”.
