The way Besart Ahmeti carried out his post last week in Brnjak impressed Prime Minister Albin Kurti. He met the chief of the Special Operations Unit and his police management colleagues Sunday to congratulate him on the operation at the northern border points.
Ahmeti, however, singled out and also cost him a post in Instagram.
“In my office in the prime minister, today I hosted the Kosovo Police Interior Minister and Senior Leader. Among them was Besart Ahmeti, whom I retakted closely after 16 years. Captain Ahmeti has professionally led special unit police in Brnjak and has conducted excellent field negotiations there. ” wrote Prime Minister Albin Kurti, adding that he did not shake Ahmeti's hand this Sunday because of the pandemic.
In fact, Ahmeti did not force his hand even 16 years ago because the prime minister confused the person he says arrested in protests Vetevendosje has opposed UNMIK.
The policeman who had taken over the current government chief in hand is Fatlum Shaqiri, who is a member of the Kosovo elite police unit.
However, the prime minister is correct when he mentions the negotiations Besart Ahmeti conducted in Brnjak.
They were reported by the exclusive footage of the Kosovo Clan team there, journalist Haris Ademi and cameraman Arben Kajazi, who had filmed the whole event.
Besart Ahmeti, negotiations took place on Saturday, October 2nd, even with KFOR members. The chief police refused to withdraw specials without initially doing so to Serb protesters who blocked the 31st and 31st border points for 13 days, as countering the decision on reciprocity of car plates.
Even on the last day of the barricades Ahmeti achieved his goal, and shortly before 16 p.m., the road to Brnjak was released to complete the first point of the September 30th agreement in Brussels.
