Kosovo, only country in region with Thailand Embassy

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani hosted the new, non-resident ambassador of the Thailand Kingdom in Kosovo today, Bhakavat Tanskul, on the occasion of handing over credentials.

Osmani congratulated the ambassador for office and confirmed that Kosovo is the only country from the region that has embassys in the Thailand Kingdom.

Meanwhile Bhakavat is Kosovo's first appointed state

At this meeting, the two sides agreed to increase the level of engagement, with particular focus on approaching two peoples and increasing exchange of experiences.

The president has stressed the possibility of co-operation with Thailand's Kingdom in the field of tourism, as Ambassador Tanscul singled out Kosovo's progress in the field of digitalisation, seeing this potential range for co-operation.
