Kosovo's corrective service in co-operation with the Health Department of Prisons, based on assessing the country's overall pandemic situation, with the aim of maintaining the health of prisoners and staff, from October 28, 2021, with Operational Order, will take new relief measures.
The measures taken are these: Two adults and two children are allowed to draw a prisoner, family visits are kept at distance and with protective tools, masks are set all the time, visits to open institutions without barriers, become more protective tools, masks, and distances and each visitor must testify before entering the institution: Inoculation certificate for full vaccine or taking a dose of vaccine against COVID-19; The RT-PCR negative test for COVID-19, no older than 72 hours and fast negative antigen test no older than 48 hours.
The PKK reports that a test is not required for children under the age of 16.
The Kosovo Correcting Service will continue to co-ordinate institutionally with relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and will keep public opinion on the ongoing steps.
