The 35-year-old Kosovo and the 26-year-old German have been presented as a false “police officers, capable of adopting 300 thousand euros from the elderly.
They will appear next Tuesday, October 19th before the District Court in Freiburg.
According to Baden-Online, the two defendants are currently in custody, until it becomes aware that the same have deceived a woman in Offenburg by taking over 170 thousand euros.
Kosovar and the German are accused of joining forces with other associates unknown before, and this has happened late until October 2019.
According to the newspaper, they have committed fraud in an organized way, in the role of false policemen.
According to the prosecutor's office, members of the unidentified gang have previously contacted elderly men and women by telephone between late October 2019 and March 2020, claiming to be policemen.
The damaged parties have been prompted, except on two occasions, to deliver considerable amounts of money to gang members.
The indictment is further said that the 35-year-old has taken on the role of money collectors from fraud persons, while the 26-year-old has transported him mainly to crime sites.
According to the prosecution, a 68-year-old has been deceived by 10,000 euros, while a 90-year-old woman damaged by over 170 thousand euros.
