Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi, Sali Mustafa, Nasim Haradainaj and Enter Gucati, who are being held at the Special Court's detention centre in The Hague, have applied to vote Sunday.
News of Reporter.net has been confirmed by Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi.
The “can confirm that during the application to be registered as voters outside Kosovo, which was held from July 10th to August 18th, we have accepted applications from citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who are currently being held in the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague.”, he said.
Elez has stressed that voter turnout through post office and a voter from abroad could be known in a later phase.
The five former KLA leaders are being held at The Hague with claims that they committed war crimes during the recent war in Kosovo in 1999, while Haradinaj's Gucati is taking heavy information public.
