US Kills Al-Qaeda Leader in Syria

The US has killed a senior al-Qaeda leader in a fearful attack in Syria. Salim Abu-Ahmad was killed in an American air strike near Idlib on September 20th. A vehicle traveling on a rural road controlled by rebels in northwest Syria was hit during the attack.
The American Central Command said US forces engaged in a kinetic attack on terrorism near Idlib, aimed at a senior leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist group.
“Abu-Ahmad was responsible for planning, financing and adoption of the trans-regional attacks of al-Qaeda”, Army Mayor John Riggsbee said.
