Police have been detailing the serious event at a hotel in Kavaja Carre, where four Russian tourists were found lifeless within a municipality. Sources said Russian tourists had booked at the Hotel “Gloria” and were there for 1 week.

Those are two men and two women who were found lifeless by hotel staff around 10:20 Friday. The victims are Natalia Burenkova 58, Sergei Burenkov 60, Nikita Belousov, 37, and Ekaterina Burenkova, 31.

Friends of tourists set the alarm for their disappearance. After the troops were found, the ambulance was announced, but it seems to have been too late. Police said in a preliminary statement that the cause of the loss of four lives has become asphyxia in theuna.

Russian tourists are suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol and to have stayed longer than is allowed inside the bush. The staff and hotel executives have been escorted to the Cavaja station to give evidence.

Legal expertise will determine the cause of death. Regarding the serious event, the Russian Embassy in Tirana is also being announced.
