Kosovo police, namely the Directorate for Trafficking in Human Being-United Trafficking in Pec, after reporting a case from the Kosovo female victim, have arrested five suspected persons -- three men and two women -- all Kosovars under suspicion that they have committed criminal work “trafficking with people.
In the details provided by Kosovo police, it is highlighted among other things that those arrested in this case are of very young ages, starting with 17 years old.
The arrested “in this case are: M.I., (born year 2000, Kosovo male), I. M, (year of birth 2000, Kosovo male), E.Z., (year of birth 1991, Kosovo female), M.J., (year of birth 2003, Kosovar female) and A.B., (year of birth 2004, Kosovo female). Police have seized as material evidence -- two pistols, a small amount of the substance suspected of being narcotics, some shelling, two vehicles and two mobile phones”, the media report said.
In this case, trafficking victims have been interviewed in the presence of the employee of the Centre for Social Work ( The QPS, as well as victims' advocates, has been handled according to standard procedures, including sending to the shelter dedicated to trafficking victims.
With the prosecutor's decision, the first four suspects have been sent to holding for up to 48 hours, while alleged A.B., will be handled in regular procedure..
