Haradinaj- Staubla publishes a document where Russia refers to Kosovo as Republic

Former Foreign Minister Melza Haradinaj Stublla has published a document as a replica to the Russian Embassy, where it said Russia does not recognise Kosovo's independence.

And according to the document published by Haradinaj Stublla, Russia has referred to Kosovo as the republic. She also said that this document confirms that Russia has already recognised Kosovo and its legal power.

If Russia recognises Kosovo's independence, then why has a verbal note been sent to the Kosovo Republic Foreign Ministry on November 27th, not the address of UNMIK? I bet this concludes that Russia recognises Kosovo and its legal power”, Haradinaj writes.

This response by the former minister came after the Russian Embassy in Serbia said Russia does not recognise Kosovo's independence.

We do not recognise Kosovo's independence and, in line with circumstances, regional governance and other structures. For us, no Pristina decision has legal powers”, reportedly in the reaction of Serbia's Russian Embassy.

And that reaction came after Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani announced today two Russian officials non grata.

According to Osmani, officials who have worked at the Russian Federation Liaison Office in Pristina are undesirable in Kosovo.

“Today, the MPJD has issued the decision to declare these two Russian officials undesirable and at the same time has announced the implementing law institutions and relevant authorities for its implementation”, the president's announcement reported.
