Haradinaj to establish Office for Diaspora, increase administration capacity in Pristina

Even Pristina, Kosovo's capital, has done nothing special that the diaspora will spend its summer and winter holidays in comfort. As a result, fellow countrymen leave Pristina, other Kosovo cities, or even travel towards Albania for most of their vacation time.

Daut Haradinaj, the candidate for chairman of Pristina, has been thinking of several options for diaspora to facilitate time in Kosovo during holidays, but even during when they seek different documentation in municipal institutions.

As the first point of Haradinaj's plan, it will be the founding of an office for the diaspora, which will be in service of the demands of fellow countrymen living outside Kosovo and which will address all issues concerning the diaspora.

Also, Haradinaj plans to extend schedules and double staff in the administration during which services will be longer, more efficient and faster when fellow travellers are in Kosovo. Coheiters usually use short summers to equip themselves with the Kosovo state documentation, creating shells and long queues of waiting. This could be adjusted under Haradinaj's governing programme.

Another thing Daut Haradinaj will do as Pristina chairman of the diaspora has to do with organising cultural-artistic activities, which will be an identification of Kosovo in the eyes of young Albanians growing up in the diaspora. These events will feature the culture and cultural heritage of Kosovo and Albanians in general in art.

Daut Haradinaj is continuing with his daily meetings with residents of the capital. It's already evidence that the path for him has grown. Citizens of Pristina want a new government, which has ideas and courage to reform Pristina, which government is pledging it can offer Haradinaj.
