Gucati-Haridinaj case, first witness continues testimony tomorrow

The Witness, who is an investigator in the SPS, talked about package documents that were confiscated a year ago at OVL-KLA offices, stressing that package documents 3 had been listed as confidential and kept SPS logos. While the defense of the accused has said the witness is not involved in any of the events he has witnessed.

Witness Zenka Pumper, among other things, has said the SPS has accepted several emails from the media in Kosovo and Albania regarding the flow of documents, which has stressed they have been forwarded with photographs.

In the last part of the session she talked about package number 2, package 3 and 4. She said package 2 was seized on September 17, 2020. According to her, the document delivery form with this date was signed by the former head of O VL- KLA, Hysni Gucati.

The Witness has added that most of the pages have had the word "confidencial" and the SPS sign set.
While Nasim Haradinaj's defence, with the authorisation of the latter, has voiced concerns over witness statements. According to them, Pumper is witnessing about the matter outside her knowledge.

“Haradinaj wants me to reiterate the fact that he has real concerns, which are raised by the defence, he asked me to reiterate that witness who was heard today is testifying about the issue that lies outside of its knowledge, she is not involved in any of the events she has witnessed about today, I just wanted to re-fold this point even as I was known by Mr. Haradinaj”, Cadman said.

Gucatt and Haradinaj's defence has had objections during questions prosecutor Valeria Bolic asked the witness.

Zenka Pumper has testified to the working procedures in the specialised Prosecutor's Office, but has said she has been involved in a considerable work on the O case. VL-KLA.
During this session, the witness has said she has analysed and looked at media articles from public sources regarding the O issue. VL- The KLA has added that it has prepared written statements concerning the duties it has performed in this case.

The prosecutor has submitted some documents to the witness, for which she has confirmed that she has. The same have not been made known to the public.

Prosecutor Valeria Bolic has asked the court to register the documents the witness confirmed as true as material evidence.

The hearing of witness Zenka Pumper will continue tomorrow.
Former OVL-KLA leaders are charged with criminal acts against justice administration, obstructing official persons in performing official duties, fearing witnesses, revenge and violating the secret of the procedure.

In the organisation they were running had reached several packages of allegedly stemming from the Special Prosecutor's Office. All of this they had made public through media conferences and other public presentations.

They have been arrested on 25 September 2020 in Pristina, since they have been held at the detention centre in The Hague.
