In this regard, in a joint address to the media, Kurti said that for these six months of governance, the country has been referring to institutional stability and credibility by citizens for whom they envy all countries in the region.
” In these six months of government, we have institutional stability, democratic legitimacy and credibility in institutions on the part of citizens, which would envy not only the countries of the region but not only the few European Union member states”.
” We have adopted the strategy for rule of law, and the law on anticorruption strategy, and we have designed draft document”.
In addition, Kurti said ahead of those present that, in six months, 29 criminal groups have been destroyed.
” In the area of fighting organised crime against corruption for six months, 519 raids and 283 police operations have been conducted. From March 23rd when we officially took office, we have so far destroyed 29 criminal groups”.
So concrete results in this six-month, which is quite different from the previous six-month”.
The European Commission in its 2021 report on Kosovo estimates that in terms of certain options that the government Kurti has proposed in terms of the vetoing process, such as full and unilateral re-evaluation of all prosecutors and judges, represents a source of serious concern.
