The case occurred Tuesday afternoon in Gjakova, police have announced in the 24-hour report.
The woman had left the shelter without warning, and she abandoned her son.
Officials at the Centre for Social Affairs have handed the abandoned son to his father, meanwhile, the suspect has been sent to holding after the interview.
The case has been initiated as “Consideration or abandoning of child”.
