Price Statistics Division Chief Ibis Aslan in an interview for Online Economy has said that in September there has been an increase in food items prices for 4.9%.
On the other hand, he said higher lifts have been observed in oils and fats for 28.2%, stressing that this lift has taken place even in oil and gasoline derivatives.
“In September, consumer prices compared to August have been rising soft prices for 0.1%, and these lifts have been in meat for 0.8%, milk, cheese and eggs have been for 0.6%, water, drink for 0.5%. But there's been a drop in prices in trees -4.7% ”.
