Will there be flooding in Kosovo? IHMK announced

Through a Facebook post, the IHMK has announced that there is no predictable of river floods.

We remember that yesterday the German medium “Focus.de” has warned major floods during this week and next week. According to this medium, rainfall is expected to take record figures, up to 300 liters of rain per square metre in 24 hours.

According to IHPC (Sector for Hydrology and Hydrological Prognosis), from October 07 to October 12, 2021, rainfall across the country is expected to occur at different intervals, which will be low to an average high but mainly local character, which can present local problems and difficulties but is not expected to cause especially flood floods.

The highest amount of rainfall during this period is expected to be in the P and VP (Peje, Istog, Yunik, Decani, Gjakova), then V and VL (between 50m m), while in L ʹJ 30 ml, and at the central 20mmm.
