In local elections held on 17 October, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) came in first in the number of regular, conditional and postial votes, with a total of 170 thousand and 177 votes. The second came out the Vetevendosje (LVV) Movement with a total of 167 thousand and 519 votes, while the third came up the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 161 thousand and 283 votes.
While fourth place took over the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) by 90 thousand and 708 votes.
Also, the narrowest race with diaspora votes has been between the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement.
The big difference between LDK and VV in the votes they have received from the diaspora is observed in the Suhareka municipality. There, the LDK candidate has received a total of 711 votes, the AAK candidate second with 307 votes, until the VVA candidate in third place with only 147 votes.
According to CEC results, at least 19 municipalities have scored political parties' first round victories, while 19 other municipalities head to the second round of local elections to be held on November 14th.
In the second round of the elections, which will be held on November 14th in the run-off will be: Gjakova (AAK-LVV), Rahoveci (AAK-LVV), Gjilani (LVV-LDK), Dragashi (PDK-LDK), Cline (AAK-PDK), Kamenica (PSD-LVV), Podujevo (LVV-LDK), Pristina (LVV-LDK), Prizreni (LVV-PDK), Vita (LDK-LVV), Vushtrria (PDK-LDK), Maleva ( Initiative - PDK), Yunik (AAK-LDK), Mamusa (KDTP-KATP), Glogovac (PDK-DD), Kllokot (Serbian List- GI SNS), Istog (LDK-AAK) and Add (PDK-LVV).
