Over 10 thousand exiles rightly vote for runoff

Central Election Commission spokesman (KQZ) made this known Valmir Elez, who said that in each municipality that will have second round of elections, the list of citizens who are registered as voters outside Kosovo from the 10 July to 18 August application date.
“In the first round of elections under the Kosovo vote, the right to vote through mail has had more than 15 thousand and 530 citizens, meanwhile in the second round of mayoral elections, which is held with a certain number of municipalities -- this right is more than 10,000 220 citizens. So in each municipality where there will be second round of elections, the voter list of citizens who are registered as voters outside Kosovo during the application period from July 10th to August 18th,” has been posted.
He also added that all citizens who are registered as voters outside Kosovo would be able to vote via mail in the second round of mayoral elections.
All citizens who registered as voters outside Kosovo to participate in the first round mayoral elections will be able to vote via mail in the second round of municipal mayors in which the second round of mayoral elections will be held,”, he said.
Meanwhile, he recalled that citizens' ballots from the diaspora will be accepted by the Central Election Commission by November 12th.
“According to the law balloting should be accepted from the CEC's most distant part by November 12th. The right to vote during this process is only the voters of municipalities in which the second round of municipal mayors' elections are organised and who have registered successfully as voters outside Kosovo during the period of application from July 10th to August 18th, 2021. So there won't be a new voter registration process outside Kosovo because it's worth the first round voter list,” has added Elez.
The number of voters outside Kosovo for each municipality where the second round is held is: Gjakova (1,089), Glogoc (175), Gjilan (607), Dragash (1,090)), Istog (707), Kacanik (166), Kline (437), Fushe Kosova (135), Kamenica (442), Obilic (60), Rahovec (382), Pristina (337), Prizren (921), Year (754), Vushtari (174), Malisheve (714), Junik (1054), Maush (192 and Kko (100)). / KP
