President Vjosa Osmani has reacted as Serbia as the host of the summit, where many states of the world are participating, has spoken with arrogance against Kosovo.
This reaction by Osman came after that of Enver Hoxhaj of the PDK.
Here's the Facebook post:
Serbia is continuing efforts to undermine Kosovo's state with turquoise and forged arguments. Finally, at the conference of the Movement of the United States (NAM), which is being held in Belgrade, Serbia is again misusing the observer country's status with the intention of distorting the truth about the state of Kosovo.
Under the leadership of the butcher Slobodan Milosevic, Serbia has caused Yugoslavia's violent dissolution, triggering genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, as well as flagrantly violating the fundamental principles of the NAM. As a colonising country, with destabilising policies, denying genocide committed against innocent civilians and actions that daily conflict with efforts for peace and stability in our region, Serbia proves that it is contrary to the values it is built upon NAM.
Kosovo's independence is recognised by a considerable number of NAM states. The International Court of Justice in 2010 confirmed that Kosovo's declaration of independence does not violate international law. So I invite all NAM states that have not recognised Kosovo to be guided by this interpretation of the NND and not by Serbia's propaganda, which is rooted in Milosevic's thinking.
To contribute to good neighbourly relations between the two countries, Serbia must give up efforts to undermine Kosovo's international position, through lobbying against Kosovo's membership in international organisations, as well as with the campaign against recognising Kosovo's independence from other countries.
The Republic of Kosovo recognises the support, which some NAM countries have given to it, on our way to freedom and independence. In this context, I hope that the countries participating in the NAM conference in Belgrade will clearly reject Serbia's efforts to misuse the conference for pursuing its destabilising political agendas against the Republic of Kosovo and against other states in our region.
