Joya Halliday, from Portsmouth, died at Queen Alexander Hospital on Tuesday, after being tested positive four days ago, the Express broadcast.
Her mother, Tracy Halliday, 40, said the student was a beloved <x0); a beloved <x0);x1> with many friends, a talented kickboxer and an aspiring musician.
Halliday said: “She was very active, enjoyed going out and spending time with her friends and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters. ”
When she grew up, she became a beautiful young lady, always wanting to help others, always there for everyone. It's shocking, that's the only thing I can't overcome. ”
Halliday said Joya's brothers and sisters are destroyed.
Preliminary results from the hospital medical examiner indicated that Joya had Miocard Covid, heart inflammation caused by the virus. Halliday explained that Jorya had planned to take the vaccine against Ovidius after the period of isolation had ended, but died on the day she was scheduled to be vaccinated.
