We plan to complete this process this week”, Elez said before the media.
The CEC will decide the period of campaigning for runoff at one of its next meetings.
Under the law, the second round of local elections must be held four weeks after the first round, the CEC is focused on the conclusion of all procedures related to the mayoral elections in order to reach legal terms.
He said the announcement of results for the first round takes place after the outcome of all votes in the CEC.
