The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo for chairman of the Podujevo municipality, Ekrem Hyseni, has pledged institutional support for the Handikos association.

Hyseni after the meeting he held with representatives of this association in Podujevo, said this association needs support from the municipality, and said they would have it once it gets Podujevo's first candidate.

Handiko's selection is far more important. We are known as solid people and solidarity should be in all spheres, and by that I mean people give different donations to these categories. But what I want to promise here is institutional support, we don't want people through their solidarity to appreciate, but we want institutions to put their hands on this institution and the municipality to help these all the time, both in professional and funding assistance, as well as in the campaign to collect other funds”, he said.

Hyseni also visited the city library of Podujevo, with whom he said this library after his victory will have much better conditions.

These “need only support, this support should be in some respects, one with funds to add the budget to the book and two, we need to create better conditions, and this in the multifunctional centre will have its place, its space for which it will really make us proud of all”, he said.

Hyseni during the day will also hold meetings with pensioners and young people in this municipality.
