On the other hand, he said that if this economic growth is intended to be achieved there should be a dynamic of implementing capital investments.
If we want to maintain a moment of economic growth then we need to see that there is a dynamic of implementing capital investments for different reasons, even those related to frequent elections, changing governments and pandemic”.
“needs to be seen investment opportunities in economic areas as well as see opportunities to support exports and can multiply the value of exporters. We have projections of the International Monetary Fund 7%, the 7.5% World Bank, of the Government, which expects about a qualm of economic growth”.
And we're going to have a growth rate at the end of the day that will be a degree of economic growth and reflect a return without pandemic and also a marked change in export growth. Projections are for no less than 7% economic growth. We cannot expect to have the same degree of diaspora visits and can't expect to have the same report with increased consumption. This year can be marked successfully in terms of economic growth”.
While the chairman of the Kosovo Alliance of Business (AKB), Agim Sahin, this year there is an economic growth considered to be over 8%.
The economic growth in Kosovo cannot be real because we had growth minus last year. This year we have a plus increase which is considered to be over 8% and will be positive for the country”.
According to him, the government should have a strategy to fight poverty and have new investments.
“recommends to the country government to gather experts around itself to recommend what they should do. In this case, a strategy is needed to combat the impending poverty, and the strategy for absorption of investments must be made, and for lowering prices are powerless if the Government or Kosovo businesses. Now when we're in the winter season when even electricity consumption levels increase, we may have problems”.
Sahin has stressed that they are monitoring price hikes, adding that this is happening worldwide and that Kosovo is powerless to stop this trend, EO reports.
The Kosovar Business Alliance is closely following the trend of price hikes on the Kosovo market. We have come to the conclusion that prices are not the result of rising prices from domestic and business businessmen, but the result of rising prices on global markets, which we are 90% importers who depend on foreign markets and along with rising prices these products that we are importing even inflation”.
