(5 years ago)The CEC has counted votes in all 126 seats and election centres in Gjilan for municipal elections. The tight race in the first round was held by the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo. Alban Hyseni has received 44.43 percent, or 18,550 votes, while Lutfi Haziri, the current chairman, has 43.81 percent, or 18.289 [...]

Alban Hyseni has received 44.43 percent, or 18,550 votes, while Lutfi Haziri, the current chairman, has 43.81 percent or 18.289 votes.
Both will be part of the runoff race on November 14th, when the new municipal leader will also be established.
Leonora Morina-Bunjaku of the PDK was ranked third with 8.24 per cent, Nazim Gagica from AAK fourth with 2.45 per cent, Gani Neziri 0.19 per cent, and Lulzim Bexheti 0.48 per cent.
