Through a media communique, the Presidency Office says President Osmani has received support for realising the property process in line with European standards and practices.
In a meeting with Mr. Macovec, President Osmani, has stressed that deep reforms in the justice system and rule of law are priorities for Kosovo. The rule of law, according to President Osmani, remains the main precondition for the success of the Republic of Kosovo in every area including EU integration. The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has strongly rejected the European Commission's findings in the Progress Report concerning the “Vetting” process launched by the Kurti Government.
Osmani has said he agrees completely with the findings in the Progress Report that a complete and immediate re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors represents a source of serious concern.
I don't agree with this arrangement at all. In fact, lack of self - sacrifice would be serious concern and not fulfilling this process. Don't realize I alone doesn't contribute to the efforts of institutions for rule of law, nor to the European future of our country”, President Osmani has said at the media conference.
