Consumer complaints doubled in pandemics face over-term products, prices raised

In this year's nine months, complaints and consumers have doubled, compared to last year. The large number of citizens have complained that it belongs to products over the expired price hikes, Fatbardha Restelica from the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) said. It has made it known that 2020 has accepted over [...]
It has made it known that in 2020 over 600 direct messages have been accepted by citizens who complained about irregularities of various natures.
We had about 500 direct messages during 2020 alone, while if we spoke from January until September 2021 we had more than 600 messages of consumers complaining about irregularities. So the number except that has doubled for this year's similar period we're waiting to reach 1 000 by the end of this year”, Restelica told EO.
And with pandemic, competition has been age-old, where businesses have fought hard between themselves for material gain because they have had huge losses during the closures, and this has affected complaints to multiply. Mostly the complaints have been about equitable prices in all markets where consumers have not had access to which product is cheaper, then there have been complaints over the deadline and numerous cases of”, she added.
Citizens, on the other hand, are desperate to say that rights were violated. Fatmir Makolli said that on market shelves she has encountered many items over the longer term, 1 cent is not returned and that prices are expensive.
“Hic, zero is respected. In a simple ash market, they don't look at articles that are all over the longer term and have many illnesses, and then they don't have one cent, they have one cent that the people leave behind, and many people buy. The most expensive prices are also here”, Makolli said.
Gani Musliu also pointed out that they are disunited as consumers, and especially during the pandemic, they have noted that prices have risen too high.
I can say that little, and in many cases, we're particularly discriminated against after the pandemic, the prices have changed dramatically, and there's also the price of oil which is higher than the countries of the region. Even the expiration deadlines vary overnight when you take food, and you see it's broken”, Musliu said.
Lutfi Berisha also said consumers should complain more because often it depends on the standard of citizens' living.
“As for the consumption of living material for my opinion, it is standard, but at prices somewhere in adulthood, even the consumer is not complaining enough, depending on the standard of living of each citizen”, Berisha said.
