The electoral panel for Ances and Parashtre (PZAP) has accepted three complaints by political subjects since the Central Election Commission has announced results for the October 17th elections.
The deadline for accepting complaints concerning the outcome of the municipal election has ended at 10:00, where the parties could file complaints within 24 hours after publishing the results.
PZAP Secretariat Chief Mul Descu has told Telegrafi that they have accepted three complaints about the election outcome, while a complaint has been admitted regarding the campaign under way before the runoff campaign.
The polls were submitted by PDK candidates, one by the Initiative's candidate, and one by the LDK.
“The appeals have been filed against the outcome of the candidates' election for mayors of the CEC, while a complaint has been filed before the official campaign for runoff. Ankee has submitted candidate The PDK for the Speaker of the Shtime Community, due to the error of registering votes among candidates for chairmanship of the Shtime municipality. Ankee has submitted candidate The PDK for the Mayor of Ferizaj Commission, due to its failure to register precisely on bail and in office.
Anke has submitted the candidate of the Podujevo municipality's Initiative for the chairmanship, who claims there are suspicions that votes have been abused at nearly any Podujevo municipality polls and requires re-counting of votes in all Podujevo's municipalities. Anke set it down LDK against The LVV, with claims that the LVV candidate in Pristina is making calls to vote”, Descu has said.
Otherwise, the Central Election Commission has announced on Thursday the final results of local elections, which are held on 17 October.
In 17 municipalities, candidates have won enough votes to get the mayor's mandate, while in 21 municipalities there will be second round of elections.
Based on these results, the second round of mayoral elections takes place in 21 municipalities: Gjakova, Glogoc (Drenas), Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kacanik, Kline, Fushe Kosovo, Kamenica, Obilic, Rahovec, Pristina, Prizren, Eneve, Year, Vushtrri, Malisheve, Junik, Mamusa and Klokot.
The second round of elections will be held on November 14th.
