A former close aides of Hillary Clinton wrote in a new book about how she was sexually attacked by an American senator.
Huma Abednego said the politician, who is unidentified, jumped onto him on a couch in the mid 2000s after inviting him to his home. She says she opposed him while he tried to kiss him and survived. Mrs. Abednego, now 45, does not reveal the identity of the senator or his party.
The claim is detailed in her new book “Beth/And: A Life in Many Worlds”, which will be published next week.
Mrs. Abednego was one of the democratic candidates for president in 2016 and former state secretary of Obama's time, Mrs. Clinton's most trusted assistant. Once described as “the second girl”.
She describes the sexual assault, while confessing her work to Mrs. Clinton when she was an American senator for New York, between 2001.
