The chief union for the minimum wage of 250 euros: Useless, insignificant.

Prime Minister Kurti has re-remembered the promise to raise the minimum wage to 250 euros, but this is considered pointless and insignificant by the head of the Independent Private Sector Union. Azemi told Online Economy, that the salary 250 is not enough for a Kosovo citizen.
According to him, no workers in Kosovo agree to sign the contract with that amount. On the other hand, he said Prime Minister Kurti had promised minimum wage at 350 euros in 2020. Azem says this discount is unacceptable.
And actually talking about minimum wage is like talking about the snow of the previous year. In 2020, the prime minister has warned that the minimum wage will be 350 euros and in 2021 said the 250-euro salary. There is currently a 250-euro salary, except for public-private companies that maintain state objects, otherwise a labour contract, no workers are connected to the company at 250 euros' wages. That means it's empty, futile promise and promise that nobody needs. You heard that promise in 2020, and you heard it in 2021, but we as unions have individually called workers so that no minimum workers in Kosovo can sign contracts under 350 euros. I have met some companies and the biggest concern they have is that they lack workers. Which means the price now does not determine the government, but pʹe determines the workforce because there is a lack of labor force”.
Azem said it is not worth talking about this minimum wage sum.
We're saying it's no longer worth talking about 250 euros, and it's not worth a 350 salary, because it's been a long time since it's been trumpeting. The 250-euro salary is defined by the Social Council on December 27th of 2017, since then having had a monetary power, it is now a major weakness to mention salaries under 350 euros”.
Last weekend at the V Congress Kosovo's III Electoral Union of Independent Unions, Kurti said that the minimum wage will initially be raised to 250 euros, and exempt from taxes in personal revenues.
