Even though the Kosovo Criminal Code envisions the penalty for rape in the case when the victim is a minor to be between 5 and 20 years in prison, Judge Florije Zatriqi has found extenuating circumstances for the suspect.
That in the decision taken two months earlier had convicted the low sentence based on regret and confession, as well as the time the defendant's case occurred was 21-year-old and that 10 years have now passed and that he has children.
