The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has indicated that by October 1st it has accepted 1,932 packages with ballots from abroad for local elections.
CEC Secretariat chief Burim Ahmetaj has indicated that ballot packages are being guarded by Kosovo Police 24 hours.
Until October 1 The CEC has accepted 1,932 packages of balloting, which were withdrawn under the Kosovo Police's escort. Paper sheets are being guarded by Kosovo Police for 24 hours, while internal spaces are being monitored by cameras”, Ahmetaj said at the CEC meeting Saturday.
Post voting has started on September 15th, meanwhile, on October 15th. The local elections are held on 17 October in 36 Kosovo municipalities.
