CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has provided details for the second round of the Commission's Elections for Speakers.

The deadlines for the main election activities for the second round of the Assembly for Mayors are these:
The election campaign for political subjects and candidates competing in the second round will be 5 days, will begin on November 8th and end on November 12th;
For successful registered voters from outside Kosovo, during July 10th, August 18th, the CEC has placed 15 days available to them to vote through mail. This vote begins on October 29th. Until before that date, the CEC plans to approve design and content of balloting, to enable the start of voting abroad. The ballots should be accepted by the CEC on November 12th.
) Central Election Commission, through mobile teams, will enable the vote of people with special needs in municipalities where the second round will be held. By November 11th, the CEC will identify infected voters with COVIID-19, while voters with special needs (VNV) in institutions, the CEC will submit a request to the Ministry of Justice from November 2nd to November 5th, while applying to the Ministry of Health will submit it until November 10th.
As far as monitoring this round of elections is concerned, the CEC has decided that competitive political subjects, NGOs, international organisations, diplomatic missions and the media confirm lists with observers wanting to engage again, as well as apply for additional observers. The application for accreditation of additional observers of political subjects, NGOs, international observers and media begins on October 28th and ends on November 8th.
