Borell at a media conference told of the latest situation that was caused at the Kosovo border points -- Serbia -- in Jarinje and Brnjak respectively.
We have had a difficult situation at the Kosovo border. I've been talking to Vuchy as well as Kurt. Recent cases and the agreement (for license) show that EU-launched dialogue is the only way. I invite both of them back to the situation where they can continue dialogue”, Borell said.
He was widely criticised for the statement following Kosovo Police action in the north for fighting smuggling, where Serbs also protested and resisted. He said such <x0 actions should be co-ordinated”, but this was taken as an animation for Serbia.
The Kosovo government replied that for combating smuggling and law enforcement, it does not ask anyone.
