Thanks to the EU's continued visit and support with various projects, Kurti stressed the necessity of increasing and strengthening bilateral co-operation between Kosovo and the European Union.
“With our new government, with the results achieved in these months, we have already entered a new phase of reforms which will accelerate Kosovo's EU integration”, Kurti said, and stressed that on this path Kosovo will move in partnership with the EU.
In the area of implementing EU recommendations, he singled out the launch of a series of reforms that were part of the European Union's recommendations for many years but had not been implemented. He once pledged to strengthen engagement, presence and co-operation in the EU and the EU.
“According to the EU, we may be critical, but Europe is our continent, and the EU is our fate”, the prime minister stressed.
Kurti stressed the acceleration of implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and opportunities to engage jointly in energy efficiency projects, increased quality of education and job creation.
It was also talked about visa liberalisation, which Kurti stressed that Kosovo has fulfilled all criteria for liberalisation and that it has already spent three years when the European Commission has recommended visa liberalisation for the second time. Discussing current developments, the October 17th municipal elections were praised for good organisation, full transparency and the democratic race.
