Andy Ukshin Hoti asks Serbia: Where's my parent?

There are five locations in Kosovo that by order of the prosecution are being investigated for finding the remains of missing persons. However, the Government Commission considers that there are even more locations in Serbia, where the remains of over 1600 missing in mass cemetery are suspected. During this year 21 mortar remains have been identified, [...]
The head of the Government Commission for Missing Persons, Andy Hoti, has stressed that there is a shortage of staff for which he has sought human-power support from the support embassies as well.
He at the Commission for Human Rights has stressed that pressure must be put on the EU as well to ask Serbia to clear the fate of over 1600 missing persons. So Hoti has answered the question of commission chairman Duda Balje, who has asked where Kosovo's weakness in the issue of the found.
We're working on changing the Law for Missing Persons. The bill is in the Ministry of Justice, which is expected to be completed within October, November and forwarded away. Under this law, our demands as a commission have also been addressed, but mostly the demands of families of missing persons concerned with other laws for categories derived from war and the Law on Pensions. Because we consider, family members have asked, but we consider that family members of missing persons have the right to have other benefits, along with those who currently have them as family members of missing persons who are close to war categories”, He said it.
The Government Commission for Missing Persons has also addressed the recommendation for the appointment of this law.
We have also addressed a recommendation that the Law on Missing Persons be no longer appointed, but the Law on Forced Persons. Because these persons who have disappeared in the war have not disappeared by themselves- desire but have been kidnapped and destroyed as a result of forced enforcement. The appointment of this law has been requested in co-operation with the Ministry of Justice and then to come to the Kosovo Assembly and receive your support to have the change of the appointment of this law”, He added Hoti to the commission members.
There are also some samples for which the International Commission of Missing Persons at The Hague is researching, but have not yet returned.
I also consider, not only Mr. Kurti that Odalovic needs to change and not lead that delegation, because the information we've received, except that they're not the least, are also false. I have heard several times the Serbian side that we have given Kosovo 2,000 documents as information. The simplest answer is my parent and where are over 1600 others? Because we can get another 20 thousand documentations but they don't count”, He stressed.
Hoti, who is also seeking the dawn of his father's fate, Ukshini added that five locations are being investigated in Kosovo at the Kosovo Prosecutor's order.
“Brend the territory of the Republic of Kosovo are some commands that are issued by the Kosovo Prosecutor. We've started working at several locations in Kosovo territory. I've said that in the media that for the sake of family and not to worry, because that's what I am, and I know what it means if I hear news that somewhere in Kosovo is being investigated for a potentially massive cemetery. For the sake of not worrying family we haven't made public the locations we're working on. Of course it remains a priority. There are five locations in Kosovo that have orders and we're working”, He adds.
Why there are locations in Kosovo where the remains of persons who were killed and massacred are being sought, Hoti adds that the priority remains the locations on Serbia's territory. According to him, in addition to the five locations that were investigated in this country, there are many others suspected of having mass graves.
Furthermore, he has also presented challenges to whitewashing the fate of missing persons, where he stressed that they have an exact lack of information that Serbia has not rarely manipulated with the intention of prolonging the issue of missing persons.
A key challenge we have addressed in Brussels two weeks ago is access to Serbia's state archives, which are considered classified with Serbia's current laws... We think that Serbia's state archives are very helpful in dawning the fate of missing persons. But it doesn't mean it's the only way. Within this year 21 identifications have been total. 19 of them are of the Albanian community, 2 are of the Serb community. In the last case, you know, seven new identifications were found in the Rezalla massacre, which means they were re-crusted to the mass cemetery of Kizevac and two re-unification”, Hoti called.
PDK MP Ariana Shoshi-Musliu has asked what his co-operation with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bissim, who is in charge of the dialogue issue.
With Mr. Lajcak I was there when it was discussed missing persons. My level is not the same as Mr. Biselim, which is political and is passed to the highest level to participate in such a meeting with Mr. Petkov. No such meeting has taken place, because I suggested Serbia has provoked Mr Odalovic's behaviour in Brussels. There is no such meeting of my level. Next meeting I don't know when or if I'll be there” He answered.
In addition to the remains of Kosovars, Hoti stressed that they also seek people who are forcibly missing. He has requested from the Human Rights Commission that family members and missing persons not be treated as victims but have a special status.
Otherwise, last week through the border point in Merdara the remains of seven troops and two reunifications of the Rezalla massacre have been brought. These mortore remains were found in the mass cemetery in Chizevac. While, following examinations at the Institute of Legal Medicine, the funeral ceremony at the Skyeraj Resort complex will be held Saturday.
