The absence of new ambassadors in several states, and especially at the world's top centres, has been highly criticised after the Kurti Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, dismissed 13 ambassadors respectively.
At the time two meetings were held between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vuciqi, in Brooke, Kosovo had no ambassador to the European helm in Brussels.
The Foreign Ministry days ago confirmed to Kosovo media that it has completed all procedures for appointing new ambassadors.
Periscopi has learned from sources within the institution that journalist Agron Bajrami, who has worked for a long time in the Time Group, is the proposed name for ambassador to Brussels. Our editorial has tried to contact Mr. Bajram over the phone, but he hasn't responded.
We remember that the Time Group is known as pro-party media, Vetevendosje Movement. One of its founders, Mr. Veton Surroi had also been talked about for a long time as the possible name of Kosovo's top diplomat, in Kurti Government, even though this had not happened. Supportive messages of the Time founder, Mr. Surroi, they were targeted by criticism and irony, especially for Kosovo's second liberation, where Surroi established a parallel of Vetevendosje's victory with the liberation of the country from Slobodan Milosevic's regime.
