False to American Gas
It's a pity how the American gas pipeline is trying to deviate, telling them lies about it. The claims that the $200 million MCC fund has not been specified for gas and energy diversification is completely untrue.
It has been almost three years since this project began and all preparations have been made for the start of its realization. Two feasibility studies have been conducted that have been funded by millions of US taxpayers.
Just now when we are in the final phase of this project and on the eve of a deadline for approval set by the MCC and the US, the Kosovo government has imposed its suspension, even naming the American gas pipeline Russian.
So today, backed by the AAK Parliamentary Group, I have handed the Parliamentary Group a request for parliamentary debate to discuss this extremely important issue for Kosovo and partnership with the US openly and with arguments.
The issue of American gas can neither be clouded nor altered by falsehood.
