Daradan Sejdiu says candidates for Pristina mayors would have to come to the debate to introduce and confront programmes.
He writes:
I was part of the Shpend staff in the 2013 and 2017 municipal elections. I was also part of municipal governance in the first term of Shpend, exactly until June 2017. The few people who know me know that my love and experience with and for Pristina is great!
On both sides of the choices I've been active in I've insisted and I haven't missed the debate, nor has the Shpend escaped from them!
Today, 13 days from election day, in October 2021, Pristina chairmanial candidates present remote programmes without facing one another!
If today they don't think they have to face each other to tell Pristina who has the programme, energy and will for the government, then how will they face citizens tomorrow?
Imagine six candidates who don't fight each other! Now imagine how many 198,000 citizens stand in front of them.
