Acting Health Minister Armenmen Zemaj has announced that Kosovo has approved the Guide for Treatment With Plazma Kovalescente patients with COVID-19 as support therapy.

Through a Facebook post, Zemaj says that in the function of treating people with COVIID-19, in addition to adequate therapy measures and application, in co-operation with experts, has signed “Guides for treating the Kovalescent patients with COVID-19 as support therapy”, Kosova reports.

Kosovo approves the Guide for Treatment With the Kovalescent Plazma of patients with Covid-19 as support therapy.

In the function of treating individuals with Covid 19, except for the measures and application of adequate therapy, in collaboration with experts, I have signed “experts for treating the Kovalescents of patients with Ovid-19 as support therapy”.

The dedicated working group and in consultation with the best world practices has compiled the guide, which adequately instructs health professionals for using the plasma of people who have gone through Ovid 19 disease, which has created enough anti-strong bodies to treat patients.

We hope that Plazma Kovalscente, as support therapy, will help all those patients who need such treatment and will be implemented according to the guidelines signed today.

The Centre for Transfusion will collect the blood of people who have passed Codvid 19 and who have created enough bodies for what I believe citizens will respond potentially.

Health care institutions, including the Infectious Clinic along with health care institutions in which patients with Covid are hospitalised, according to indicators, will have to implement treatment with Plazma Kovalescente.
