Yusuf Azem: Over 60 thousand workers will not benefit from government's 10m euros

Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi has said that of the 10m euros earmarked for the private workers sector will benefit only 11,000 workers. According to him, the Kosovo government has lied about stimulating workers from the state treasury. The private companies received the emergency packages where workers received [...]
The private companies took the emergency packages where workers received 170 euros, private companies took over the employee's head for each worker 210 euros, and we didn't see any incentives. Now at the economic recovery package, it's presumption that all workers who have lost their jobs will be stimulated, we say that the Government of Kosovo has made a decision because with 10 million euros earmarked for the private labor sector they can only meet the demands of 11 thousand and 110 workers, and about 50-60 thousand workers will remain without incentive:”, he said.
According to him, this government and other governments have been at zero level, and according to Azem that is why the country is in a serious state.
We are thinking that this government and other governments have been at zero level and we are in a serious situation. The story won't be forgiven, the workers every day are in the room with patients with COVID-19, and don't get extra pay. I didn't think when this discrimination could happen to me. Technical workers to stimulate 100 euros, even though it's a small sum”, he said.
