All members of the Constitutional Court voted in favour of the request made by the Vetevendosje Movement regarding the lawlessness of MP Etem Arifi's vote.
According to the Constitution, Kosovo's 3 June decision to elect the government “is not in accordance with the Constitution because the government has not received the majority of votes of all MPs in the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo”, the decision said.
Following that decision, Vjosa Osmani, as the president of Kosovo, called representatives of political parties in the country to meet to discuss closely the possible date of general elections.
The Constitutional decision said that 40 days is the legal deadline for the election appointment since the release of this decision on the official page, which has not yet been made.
But what is quite interesting is the fact that one of the deputies of the Kosovo Assembly will be recognised as the short-lived “ ” in this legislature.
By December 18th 2020, Taulant Kryeziu was sworn in as Kosovo Parliament MP in the Vetevendosje Movement ranks, while on December 21st, the Constitution decided to lead the country to early elections.
