Vuciq: If Pristina bans vaccines, we will find a way to join Kosovo

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, today said there is a plan for vaccinating Serbs in Kosovo, and added that Serbia is willing to share vaccines for the Albanian population, Tanjug reports. Responding to the question of whether there is a vaccination plan for Serbs in Kosovo, Vuciq said the state is looking for a “way [...]

Responding to the question of whether there is a vaccination plan for Serbs in Kosovo, Vuciq said that the state is looking for a hybrid “how it is bribing” for this, which means that some of the citizens will be vaccinated in northern Kosovo, a part in the Raska municipality, a part in Vranje and Bujanovac, but that has not yet been found a way in which citizens from central Kosovo would be vaccinated.

In any case, a special part of the Vacination Operational Team together with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija will take care of our people”, Vuciq said.

He stressed that Serbia will always find a way to help its people in Kosovo, adding that this “is not easy because of the policy that Pristina is pursuing”.

According to Vuciqi, the help Serbs receive from their country does not endanger anyone, but is part of the “national generator”.

“After Kosovo is an independent state for them, so it is part of Serbia for us, we do it especially because of the care of the Serbian people who live there and perceive Kosovo as their territory”, Vucic said.

Asked whether he expects to have problems with the distribution of vaccines, given previous experience when in Pristina warned of taking measures to enter these vaccines illegally in Kosovo, Vuciq responded briefly that “politika is a miracle” and added that “Serbia would find a way”.

He recalled that they issued a red order from Pristina for arresting people who distributed vaccines, so he added that Serbia should hide them, as well as medicine and vaccines itself.

If they wanted to give the Albanians vaccines, we would say okay, but they wanted to destroy them”, Vuciq said.

He stressed that Serbia will find a way to help its people, just as it managed to fill the “stores with goods” during the 100% tax.
