Vuciq announced that there will be further investments in the Serbian Army and the defence system, as well as significant revenue increases for army members this year.

This year, there will be large wage increases for soldiers, non-commission officers and officers, with a five per cent increase from the beginning of the year, and there will be an additional 10 per cent for the non-commission officers, and the total increase for the military will be between 9.8 per cent and 17.6 per cent”, Vuciq said after the meeting, in which results were presented for the Serbian Army's functional and operational situation analysis for 2020.

He said that at the meeting attended by Defence Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and Chief of General Staff Milan Mojsilovic were discussed all Serbia's risk opportunities.

Vuciq said that during the past year, it has been working on increasing combat readiness for the purchase of more modern weapons and equipment from S1 patients to non-pilot aircraft.

He announced that this year, special attention will be given to the form of electronic warfare, so that in addition to nonpilot air vehicles, even the most powerful will be worked on procurement radar systems.

“We want to keep army members increasing their revenues”, Vuciq stressed.

At the meeting, we have analysed all possible threats to Serbia's security and discussed all the rights and tactical and military actions in the event of aggression against our country, and how many forces can be available within 24 hours, which are the reserves of military means, food and other things”, the Serbian president stressed.

He said the Serbian army is becoming stronger every year.
