Vasfije Krasniqi alarms: It's telling people not to talk to me.

One of the bravest figures in Kosovo's public sphere, Vasfije Krasniqi, is widely believed to enjoy over-party and popular sympathy because of her open confession of sexual violence experienced in wartime.

Krasniqi challenged the established taboo that has maintained the stigma against the survivors of sexual violence in our country, Periscope follows.

But it turns out that things are not just going one way.

Since I spoke in Kosovo, I have started to understand how survivors are mistreated. We're told not to talk to certain people, and now people are being told not to talk to me, Krasniqi in her post.
