The official confirmation comes after Trump agreed to implement Twitter's requests to erase posts if he did not want to face closure, writes CNN, translates Periscope.
On Wednesday, Twitter said the Trump account would temporarily be concealed due to its policy violations, lasting 12 hours from the moment it swept out posts.
Twitter threatened Trump with a permanent stop from the platform if he committed other violations.
No president has so far been banned from Twitter.
