Pottinger's abandonment comes after speculation that others will leave after the American president triggered violence and praised the rebels as he continues the baseless complaints against his election defeat.
So far, six officials linked to Trump and his close group have said they are leaving, including members of Melanie Trump's team, following deadly violence in Congress that was voting on Joe Biden's promotion of victory, writes The Guardian, translates Periscopi in Albanian.
Even other senior Republican Party figures have meant they will share political fate from the president.
Posting on Twitter, Robert O'Brien a staunchly loyal Trump praised the behaviour of Vice President Mike Pence, who resisted Trump's pressure to reverse election certificates.
According to reports by the American media, some senior administration officials have also been speaking informally about the amendment to the 25th to remove the president before his mandate expires on January 20th, until they have called for a second to justice for Trump so that he can no longer compete for president.
