Judge Nicolas Guillou, in the lobby on revising the detention for Salih Mustaf, has suggested that reviewing Mustafa's detention measure should take place after two months' expiration from the recent detention decision.
Set a decision to review Mr. Mustafa, the Judge of Pre-Procedure Procedure, will consider the parties' parachutes on the matter”, writes the request of Judge Guillou, Telegraphy.
Guillou has asked the specialised Prosecution to present the written parachutes by Wednesday (January 13th 2021), if there are still reasons for Salih Mustaf's further detention, or whether his ban should be halted.
Similarly, the defence side has been asked to present the written parachutes until Monday, January 18th, 2021, concerning the continuation of the detention for former KLA superior Salih Mustafa.
The decision to hand over these predecessors has been made on 5 January 2021, but has recently become public.
Mustafa is the first arrested by the Special. On September 28, 2020, he had refused to plead charges related to alleged war crimes in Kosovo.
On October 28, 2020, former chief of staff The KLA has been declared innocent of the four charges brought against it by the Special. On November 23, 2020, the court had decided that Mustaf would continue custody.
