SKANDAL: European Commission Changes Post calling Kosovo Republika

The European Commission on Twitter has changed yesterday's post to this social network referring to Vjosa Osmani as incumbent president of the Republic of Kosovo, calling her in the amended post as Kosovo's acting president. In the first post, the European Commission page has written “The incumbent president of the Republic of Kosovo”, who has since changed to “Kosovo's incumbent president,”, the post currently located on this page.
The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's government Petar Petkov has reacted on Twitter after the European Commission's first post, complaining that the European Union is recognising Kosovo after referring to it as the Republic of Kosovo.
Unlike the European Commission, the other EU institution, the European Parliament at official meetings refers to Kosovo as the Republic of Kosovo.
It remains to be seen whether the incumbent president will protest this shift of position by the European Commission, as Serbs protested. /Periscope
