Shpend Ahmeti has an announcement about non-excusing payment for affected by COVID

Ahmeti has said that failure to discuss payments has to do with closing the State Treasury, which has been closed since December and has not been opened yet.

“Pages (from state account to personal accounts) are executed by the Treasure of the Republic of Kosovo, following the handover of the request for each payment from the municipality. Under legislation in effect, the central level has closed the Treasury in late December to complete the financial year and has not yet reopened. As the Treasurer opens and the tools are anchored for the Commissions under the Law in Power, the payments will continue for all beneficiaries”, Ahmeti wrote.
